Minister: Pastor Kyle McDougall
Welcome to our new Pastor, Kyle McDougall! She joined the church as our pastor on March 31, 2025. Kyle started her ministry at Madison Avenue Christian Church in Covington, KY as the youth director. In 2009 she accepted a call to ministry and started attending Lexington Theological Seminary where she received her Master of Divinity in 2013. She was ordained at Madison Avenue Christian Church on June 22, 2013. She had a 19 month residency at Central Christian Church in Lexington. May 1st of 2015 she started her ministry at First Christian Church in Bowling Green, KY where she served as the Associate minister for almost 10 years.

Office Coordinator: Laura Lopez
Laura has been an active member of ECC since 2000. She has coordinated VBS, served on every committee at some point in time, sings in the choir and became the Office Coordinator in 2025. As a retired Spanish teacher of 30 years, Laura loves spending her free time with her children and grandchildren.

Organist: Dottie Durham
Dottie has been the organist at Erlanger Christian for 40 years. She is originally from Lima, Ohio, and graduated from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in music performance. She retired after 27 years of teaching for Walton Verona and Erlanger-Elsmere Schools.
Choir Director: Ron Durham
Ron is a graduate of Transylvania University and received his masters in music from Northern Kentucky University. He was the choral director at Lloyd Memorial High School from 1973-2001 and at Covington Catholic High School after that.
Ron enjoys directing our very talented church choir.
Bell Choir Director: Dr. Amy Kennedy
Dr. Amy Kennedy has been serving as our bell choir director since September of 2022. She grew up in this area, and graduated from Dixie Heights High School. After attending the University of Kentucky, she taught general music and band in western Kentucky before resuming her schooling. She has masters degrees in flute performance and in music theory from the University of Kentucky as well as a PhD in music theory from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. After teaching music theory and history at Luther College in Decorah, IA from 2007-2020, she returned to this area to build a private flute studio and teach K-12 music once again. She teaches K-8 music at St. Bernard School in Taylor Creek OH, as well as St. William School in Cincinnati.
Nursery Attendant: Nanci Pinney
Nanci came to ECC in 2022 and boasts that it was the best decision she made in a long time! After 25 years of “I’m lovin’ it,” Nanci retired from McDonald’s in 2021. She now spends her weekdays caring for her two grandchildren, Maren and Jonah. She has two daughters, Brandy and Katrina and 3 grandchildren.
Fun Fact: After high school Nanci went Europe and landed a job in Salzburg, Austria as a nanny where she lived in the Sound of Music castle.
